About Women Supporting Women Inc.
Women Supporting Women Inc. (WSW) is a registered non-profit founded in the state of Rhode Island with a 501(c) (3) registration. WSW is a multi-generational Christian Women’s Ministry uniting Christian women across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. Our mission is rooted in faith, service, and community, built on three core pillars that drive meaningful impact in our communities: Growing, Nurturing, and Building.
Our Mission
Walking with Women and Communities in Christ
We journey alongside women and communities through every stage of life, helping them discover their true identity and purpose in Christ. Through Christ-centered support, fellowship, and practical resources, we affirm God’s Word and nurture a sense of value, calling, and confidence in everyday life.
Nourishing the Distressed
In partnership with Christian ministries, community organizations, and church leaders, we answer God’s call to serve all who are hungry — spiritually and physically — through the WSW Food Distribution Program, fostering Christ-inspired renewal in every community we touch.
Growing for Greater Impact
We are dedicated to expanding our ministry to reach more women, families, and communities in need, transforming lives through sustainable programs, mentorship, and holistic care.
By helping women and communities Grow, Nurture, and Build meaningful relationships with God and with one another, and through collaboration with local churches and community leaders, we bring hope, dignity, and the love of Jesus to every life we touch — uniting communities in strength and hope.
Growing
We grow community by creating spaces throughout the year where women can thrive together in faith through Christian study and meaningful fellowship. Our annual WSW Leadership Team Retreat deepens our walk with God’s word, strengthens the sisterhood He’s forming among us, and refreshes our spirits for the work He’s called us to do.
Nurturing
We respond to food insecurity with compassion, nurturing partnerships with other Christian organizations to feed any of the distressed. Together, we donate food supplies, prepare meals, and serve food to bring comfort and nourishment to those in need.
Building
We build bonds of fellowship and purpose with Christian women’s organizations that support women in every stage and circumstance of life. Through these relationships, we facilitate workshops, give fundraising support, and share resources and expertise from our network
